Our Son
We were refered to the orphanage by my younger sister and thus came acrossed the young boy we plan to call Deacon. While it took me a while to convince my mate that a son would be good for us, she came around and we are both ready to give Deacon a loving, safe home. He will have our allies as an extended family to protect and teach him.
Deacon's History
Deacon was found drifting in a space. The spacecraft had not been in any kind of fight or collision that CONTROL (law-enforcement agency) could tell, and had only random damage caused by meteoroids and other space d ebris since being put adrift. Deacon was in a suspension capsule. There were several other capsules, but they were empty. The Thunderian craft was at least ten years old, and we're thinking he must have been nearly newborn when put in. (He's a little behind on things like speech and motor skills.) There was no record on the ship, as if it had been deliberately erased.
Adamante Orphanage
This is an adoption agency devoted to finding homes for children who were orphaned both by the destruction of Thundera, and by other tragedies. There are Mutants, Lunattacks, Thunderians, and humans, mostly, but a few other races come in from time to time. It is located on the main CONTROL planet of Adamante, but although they are under CONTROL'S protection and jurisdiction, we are not run by them.
Of course we realize that there are still many children at the orphanage still needing good homes. Please if you have a heart please take a look.
